When all else fails, there's alway the tried and true! Invented in 1972 by FDNY firefighter (and licensed locksmith) William McLaughlin, the K-Tool was the first commercially-produced through-the-lock tool made specifically for firefighters. While we'd recommend the S&D Rex or one of the other Rex Tools (also made by Fire Hooks Unlimited) over the K-Tool, the K does still does a good job of pulling rim and mortise cylinders.
