With a 7 pound head, it was designed to be a wee-bit lighter than the average heavy axe or sledge. With a locking marrying-slot that rivals the Lock-Slot 8 for locking ability, the Maxx-Axe is your new favorite half of the irons! Available in all the same handle options as the LS8.   NOTE: For the LOCK-SLOT 8 AXE, MAXX-AXE, and IRON FOX AXE, the 32" and 28" handles will not marry properly with a 30" inch halligan because the handle is too short.....but they marry well to a 24" halligan!
