It's getting harder and harder to find water can extinguishers with Schrader Valve that you can fill yourself right in the station. In my FD, we're pretty particular about how water cans are filled....so we INSIST on the best, and ONLY getting extinguishers that have a Schrader Valve so that WE can do it! After all....if you're in early without a line, you could be trusting your life to the can.
