Lighthouse Home Educators Homeschool Group Homeschool Greenhouse Class – Bloom, Grow, Blossom!!! Tuttle Orchards is offering a fun learning opportunity for homeschool students and their parents to explore how plants grow.  This experience lasts approximately 45-60 minutes and is designed for children 5 to 10, but children 2 to 13 years old are welcome to attend with a paid ticket.  Experience includes: Observation and discussion about seeds, roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Student participation in a skit to learn about photosynthesis. Tour of the greenhouse to learn about the growing tables and see how plants are transplanted. Talk about how things grow in a hands-on environment. Hands on planting activity with a plant to take home.
