Westours mv West Star Spirit of London Alaska Cruise Brochure 1974

Westours fold-out full color brochure for the May 1974-October 1974 8 and 9 day Alaska Inside Passage cruises aboard the West Line ship mv West Star and the P&O ship Spirit of London. The brochure includes photos of the ships and descriptions of the cruise and ports of call, sailing schedules and room rates, deck plans for both ships, and general info. The brochure is in excellent condition. The 4400 ton mv West Star was originally built in Spain in 1967 for the Ibarra Company and sailed with them as the Cabo Izarra until 1970 when it was purchased by West Line and renamed West Star.  The ship was sold in 1975 after Holland America acquired Westours and sailed as the Dona Monserrat for the Philippines based Navi Co.  The ship was sold again in 1980 to the Chinese government and renamed Xing Ho and was used as a ferry in Hong Kong until 2001 when it was scrapped.
