Designed by Greta Grossman in 1947, the Grasshopper Table Lamp is a true icon of modern design.Inspired by the elongated frame and elegance of its namesake, the Grasshopper lamp is Greta Grossman's most celebrated design. The angled stand and tripod legs create a beautifully sculptural form, eye-catching enough to anchor a room. The lamp's powder-coated steel shade is elongated, and can be adjusted to change the direction of light as needed.Today, the lamp is manufactured in Denmark by Gubi - a Copenhagen-based purveyor of both historic and contemporary design.
