A broken slab of marble inspired the first furniture collection for the Mexico-City based artist/architect turned designer. Collection 01 for Disciplina Studio is produced entirely from found materials. Discarded slabs of marble are combined with leftover materials from other projects to produce an intriguing study of materiality. The one-of-a-kind works, all informed by the existing shapes of the raw materials, are equal parts functional objects and sculptural works of art.
