Bumblebee Jasper bee carving

Bumblebee Jasper is mined in Indonesia from the side of a volcano by a company called Indoagate.com. Bumblebee jasper is a mixture of volcanic matter, including anhydrite, sulfur, arsenic, and hematite. The stone's vivid colors come from sulfur and arsenic compounds. Bumblebee Jasper is not a true jasper, but a stone called Travertine and has a calcite base making it soft but brilliant colored. Bees measure from 2.2" x 1.7" to 2.81" x 2"
