Superb NY Designer Paul Lobel Sterling Silver Modernist Impressionism Horse Stallion Brooch Circa 1950s   Measurements: 3"W x 2.25"H x .4"Thick (7.62cm x 5.72cm x 1.02cm) Markings: Lobel Sterling Weight: 30.4g Fantastic sterling silver large and heavy modern impressionism horse stallion brooch by the iconic US designer Paul Lobel. Brooch features an oval shape with a raised 3-D cut out horse figure, with the face of the brooch underneath the horse oxidized for a fantastic and dramatic look. The front side of the horse and the back of the brooch are a glossy mirror like finish and the back side of the horse's head has been oxidized for depth and drama as well. Overall it is in exceptional condition, with little to no wear, pin back works as intended. Included with purchase is a converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.
