USDA Certified Organic The Brock apple is a Golden Delicious & McIntosh apple cross with that sweet vinous flavor of Golden Delicious, but with some of the Mac's perfumery aromatics. Discovered in Alfred, Maine, in 1933 and was planted widely through midwest and northwest Oregon. The Brock Apple was developed at Highmoor Farm in Monmouth Maine by my grandfather Russell M Bailey. Brock apple has a firm, juicy texture with a sweet-tart flavor that can be quite refreshing. The skin is thin and the flesh is creamy white, with a slightly grainy texture. Some people enjoy the Brock apple as a dessert apple, while others prefer to use it in cooking or baking. Please see below for further information on our organically grown Brock apple trees for sale.
