J. Behring Treeman Musk Ox South Dakota Caper Birds Head handle Shark Sheath

This Treeman South Dakota caper has a 3 1/2" heavy duty .250 thick hammer mark hand forged blade with a 14" hollow grind. Nice deep stamps and sharp! The silver soldered nickel guard is big  enough to keep a wet bloody hand from slipping past and getting cut.  I remember back in the day when Paul Bausch was alive and the head buyer for AG Russel before they went China made. He always told me that he won't buy a knife with out a guard and this man bought thousands of knives.  This birds head  handle is rock solid stabilized Musk Ox horn. Hard to find these days and expensive to buy when you do.  Makes it a very limited item and rare.  OAL is 8 1/4" . Nice big stack of spacers with the gold/yellow spacers that no one but myself and Rocco have.  The sheath is 9oz leather with a shark skin front and contoured to the shape of the knife and handle.  This is one you will not see very often and it fits the hand well and looks baddass .
