Knee brace brackets are used to support the perimeter of platforms. Typically we make the wooden knee brace out of 4x6 pressure treated lumber and cut a slot in the bottom to accept the knee brace. Please note the 1-1/4"" Galvanized lag bolt or any of our TAB bolts needed to install this bracket are not included. Our 1-1/4" x 8" lag is typically the bolt used. We do include the carriage bolts needed to attach the bracket to the wooden knee brace. 2 -  5/8" x 5" galvanized carriage bolts, each with a nut and a lock washer. This Knee Brace Bracket should be used in conjunction with our 1-1/4" Diameter Lag Bolts or any of our TAB bolt to attach to your tree. Both these type bolts can be used to attach a wooden knee brace to a small lag bolt. 1/4" Steel plate. Pipe is 1.25" Inside diameter (I.D.)
