The wild violet, humble she may be, is one of the most beloved of woodland blossoms.  Delicate and demure, her petals tipped down toward the forest floor, she blooms amid the moss and fallen leaves left from autumns past.  The drydown on this one is where it reallllly shines. Totally swoonworthy. Early stages are a bit woody, green, slightly sharp, resinous... but the drydown?
