Dimensions: 6 to 9 mm range Clarity:  Included but also quite gemmy for specimens Origin:  Mogok, Myanmar Treatments:  None Comments: These classic octahedron and modified octahedron gem crystals are pretty neat.  They are relatively common, but can be tricky to find nice ones like these sometimes.  These are two variants of spinel crystal habits.  Textbook formation, and lustrous faces.  One of these is a bi-pyramidal octahedron, and the other is a flattened version of the same.  It is a great pair to show variations in crystallography.   Not the biggest pieces, but definitely large enough to show off in a collection, or even a piece of jewelry!
