Gem:  Topaz Crystal with small cluster of Phenakite crystals Weight:  3.56 ct. Dimensions:  10.8 x 9.6 x  Clarity:  N/A - stable crystal, gemmy, but with dislocations. Origin:  Harvard University's 1920's exploration and work site - South Baldface, Chatham, New Hampshire Treatments:  None Comments: A collector's crystal mined may years ago.  This piece is terminated all around in a somewhat pyramid shape.  It's broken along the bottom, but theres hardly any, or maybe no damage to the whole crystal as it sits on display.  The natural facets are lustrous, and numerous, and there is a great little cluster of phenakite crystals on one side, showing excellently with defined faces.   There is a little bit of dirt left on the specimen, mostly around the base of the phenakite crystal cluster.  If the buyer wishes, that area could probably be cleaned up rather easily with a bit of water under pressure, or careful bead blasting.
