Intensely Blue Kyanite Faceting Rough - EXCEPTIONALLY Clean - Faceting Quality Set from Kalikot, Nepal

There's some stiff competition from Africa, and Brazil, and maybe a few other places, but the stuff from Nepal is just consistently mind blowing. The two smaller ones (about 7.25 ct. each) - are suited for tablet shaped gems -- either large multi-color cabs, or rose cuts, or double-table faceted gems.The large one has the depth for an outstanding faceted gem. There is one very shallow crystal delamination at about 1/2 mm depth, and a few edge dislocations that are all away from the center of the stone.
