Dimensions:  4.55 x 4.6 mm and 4.9 x 3.2 mm Clarity:  VVS+/ Eye Clean Origin:  Umba Valley, Tanzania Treatments:  None Comments: This pair of chrome kornerupine gems is completely clean -- something unheard of for cabochons in good quality chrome kornerupine.  Normally, all clean pieces get faceted, but since I was in control of the fate of my own rough, I decided I wanted to see some of these exist in the world. One of these is predominantly light teal and green, but does show a gray-purple at certain angles (the square).   The other (rectangle) has a bit richer color of teal, and shows a fairly strong purple on side-glance (as seen in the photo). These are just great!!  Use them for affordable rarity jewelry, or mix and match them with other gems and make something truly one of a kind.
