Artist: Devan Lassiter (He/Him - @rayofsun.art) "I am an artist from Virginia and I came out as a trans man in April 2021. Most of my art revolves around being a trans man in the American South and how growing up here has impacted my understanding of masculinity. My art strives to show the breadth of southern masculinity and the beauty and love that it holds. I also want more trans people to be the subject of art and that drives me to create."  About The Art: "Dreamin' Man is an acrylic painting about trans sensuality and the importance of being able to see yourself as attractive. I wanted to depict me, a trans man, looking attractive while also being visibly trans. Men and masculine people wiping their faces with their shirts is one of those little things that is for some reason seen as an attractive and very masculine thing to do.
