An Antique Large Size Powder Flask of heavy construction, circa. early 19th. century made by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. The flask has one side with raised embossed design and "JAMES DIXON & SONS". The top of the flask is marked "JAMES DIXON & SONS", "IMPROVED PATENT". The body has some small dents, scratches and dings. A good example. Spring - Original and works as designed. Overall length - 8" Pattern - Raised hunting scene depicting animals captured. Made by - "JAMES DIXON & SONS", "IMPROVED PATENT" Seams - Good with (4) intact suspension rings. In good mechanical working order. TTI-565422
