A Rare & Fantastic Large Antique English Queen Anne Period Flintlock Holster Pistol, circa. 1705-1715.  11.75", .62 cal. round iron multi-stage barrel marked with (2) oval Proofs of a small "Crown" over "GP" (Gun Makers Proof) and a small "Crown" over "V" (Viewed), a small " * " over ? (barrel marker).  The convex lock has beautiful decorative engraved scrolling vines with boarder line engraving and the pan has no bridle to the frizzen.  All brass furniture includes an interesting convex side plate (secured to the stock and lock plate by (3) side nail screws), early trigger guard, engraved short lobed butt cap, and a vacant wrist escutcheon.  All iron parts have light rust pitting (most around the touch-hole).  Wood ram rod with horn tip.  The stock has fine sterling silver wire inlay in the form of a scallop shell around the barrel tang.  The stock has a crack running through the front portion at the butt near the lower section of the trigger guard but overall the stock is solid w
