Paul Chidlaw, Framed Large Abstract Serigraph 2

In washes of blue, green, yellow and orange, the late Paul Chidlaw explores how colors merge to create sinuous, dream-like forms. We floated this one-of-a-kind abstract print so you can appreciate its imperfect edges and framed it in simple white. And as a bonus, we added horizontal and vertical wires to the back so you can hang it any way you choose. A student at L'École des Beaux Arts in Fontainebleau during the 1920's, Paul Chidlaw had a varied and prolific career in the art world. He painted commissions for the WPA, became a revered professor at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and mentored luminaries like Tom Wesselmann and Jim Dine. He was also an early proponent of Abstract Expressionism. Chidlaw passed away in 1989.
