Crafted using traditional processes and tahona-crushed agave, this still-strength Plata tequila is our first in a series of limited-edition releases celebrating the Sauza family legacy. This LTO honors Don Cenobio, one of the “fathers of tequila,” and his unmistakable impact on the tequila industry. 45% ABV TASTING NOTES COLOR: Brilliantly clear and colorless AROMA: Notes of agave with hints of citrus and sweet floral TASTE: Initial spiciness, with toasted oak, on a background of herbs and fresh agave. That’s why our tequila is still produced at the same distillery where Don Cenobio began everything back in 1873— La Perseverancia. Our agave is hand selected only when perfectly ripe.
