Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

This whiskey was aged five years in first use ex-Kentucky Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks and was bottled at 43% alcohol by volume. It is said to be a smooth, creamy and spicy full-bodied whiskey. TASTING NOTES COLOR Amber NOSE  Toasted nuts, vanilla honey, and toffee notes accompanied by sweet dried fruit PALATE Winter spice, redcurrant, and coconut shift elegantly to deeper notes of dark chocolate, almond and oak. A creamy, full bodied mouthfeel with unexpected depths. FINISH Scintillating sweet wine notes, with a slide of dry space that lingers delicately, sublimely on the palate. 43% ABV
