This is a totally restored original US WWII M1 helmet shell with chinstraps that has been converted to represent the rare M1C paratrooper model worn by the US Army airborne units during WWII. This M1C helmet restoration has been conducted with painstaking detail, such as the use of actual shuttle loomed 20/2 mercerized yarn olive drab #3 chinstrap webbing.
