From Thomas Jeffersons cabinet in Monticello. This bookstand is the closest replica to the original that I have seen or can make. Every detail has been researched from the wood, walnut to the pressure fittings that keep the leaves secure when closed. There are five leaves that are adjustable on a revolving base. When completely closed it forms a 12" cube.
