DESCRIPTION: Handmade by Huang Dan, an esteemed Yixing artist in Yixing, this Ming Shi Gong Deng Yixing Zisha teapot--as its name implies--resembles the shape of a palace lantern. Its prototype is a lantern, which was originally designed by/for an old villager in Tuntou village, and later on became a tribute to the palace. This teapot is simple, elegant, and old-fashioned in form. The pot has a slightly long body and a very unique spout.
