Customized "Adorable Round Treasure Pot" by Tongxin She Teahouse: A Choice of Purple Sand Treasures

In Tongxin She Teahouse, there is a customized purple sand teapot that attracts much attention - the "Adorable Round Treasure Pot".   This pot is meticulously crafted with rare Zhaozhuang vermilion clay from Yixing, China. It has a capacity of 120cc. Zhaozhuang vermilion clay is produced under the yellowstone layer. It is a hard, large Kuai Zhuang ore and is extremely rare. Its shrinkage rate can reach about 25% or even 30%, almost the limit of vermilion clay. Therefore, the pot body presents obvious large vertical strip wrinkles, which is known as "no wrinkles, no vermilion". The pot body has a strong sandy texture, which is very different from ordinary vermilion clay.
