Both Fender's Jazzmaster and Jaguar were originally wired with a separate circuit for the neck pickup, which provided a volume and tone control for the neck pickup that was separate from the master volume and tone controls. This neck pickup circuit was controlled using roller knobs that are attached to mini pots. This is the mini pot used for tone control, it's the right part for both the Jazzmaster and Jaguar when vintage wiring is desired.
