Red leather covers have very minor apparent wear, and gilt remains nice and bright. The gilt decoration extends to the page edges, as well as the endpapers with dentelle borders, and marbling to match. Armorial bookplate on front inside cover of Bradford Murphey, with the motto Fortis et Hospitalis (Brave and Hospitable). Interior is very clean and neat, and the binding is firm. A very handsome little volume, highly decorative.
