High West Distillery Private Select Straight Bourbon Whiskey Cabernet Finish

A Coastal Barrel Collective exclusive! Our very own private single batch of High West Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon barrel.   Color - deep, warm, sepia. Nose - dried cherries, cocoa, and hints of sweet tobacco (think Swisher Sweets©), with a beautifully unique cedar resin mingled in. Palate - A full yet velvety mouthfeel from the start with an exquisite balance of flavors of chocolate covered cherry and Heath© bar complemented by aromas of cedar and walnut.  The finish is long and generous with continued notes of cherry cola, walnut, and black cherries, reminiscent of a less sweet Dr. Pepper©. The wizards of High West have done it again, producing a whiskey that sets itself apart from the traditional fold, without jumping the shark.
