T59 Gaff Topsail Sloop Kit by Tippecanoe Boats

The T59 is 59 inches of splendid boat, soaring rig with a large topsail and traditional gaff rigged mainsail. This new design entry by Tippecanoe Boats captures the spirit of the great days of sail at the beginning of the 1900s, and OMG is she fast! With all of that sail area and a deep fin keel, this boat is amazing. A very nice design detail is that the topsail can be removed in about a minute to continue sailing in really heavy wind conditions. The cabin slides right off for easy access to the batteries but keeps everything super dry down below. For transporting, unhook the two shrouds and the sheets and bow stay, and slide the mast right out. Another minute and you have the keel and the rudder both out so the hull fits easily into your car.
