Seiko - Prospex Solar Chronograph | SSC817

The new Speedtimer Solar Chronograph Series is the latest in the Prospex Collection inspired by Seiko's first precision chronographs, developed for international sporting competitions in 1964.  Combining the convenience of solar power and rugged durability with sporty style the chronograph collection comes in several variations. The SSC817 has a beige textured sandblasted dial with inconspicuous slanted date window @4. The brushed and polished 39mm stainless steel case is equipped with a black tachymeter bezel with beige numbers. Applied markers and Black Patina LumiBright sword style hands are easily legible behind a curved sapphire crystal. Polished chronograph pushers measure 60 minutes in 1/5- second increments with a small seconds, 24hour sub dial and power reserve indicator functions.
