
Trip the Light Custom
Description This design is heavily inspired by the Greta Van Fleet song "Trip the Light Fantastic," and features lyrics from the song such as "to be wholly free and amongst the stars." I decided to also base the design on additional lyrics from the song such as "to comet across the blistering hue" to relay more of a cosmic/celestial vibe. This design was originally made as a cosmic punk style Custom. The punk style lace-up panels on the front of the jacket can be added separately for an additional cost. See the Alternate Pricing tab. > Deeper Meaning I brought this specific lyrical inspiration into the design by making the circle symbol/head into a comet above the arches/song symbol/body. The reason why I call the circle and arches of the symbol a head and body is because, from my understanding, that is what they are supposed to represent. The title "Trip the Light Fantastic" is an idiom originally attributed to John Milton's 1645 poem L'Allegro, which includes lines addressed to
