40's Taupe Wool Gabardine Jacket

Taupe 1940's wool gabardine women's button up jacket. Perfect 40's shape and style! A lovely addition to your vintage wardrobe. This beauty would look great with either a pencil or swing skirt. Button front closure with hook and eye between 2nd and 3rd buttons. - Shoulder pads- Diagonal button holes- Self buttons- Fully lined - Elbow dartsThis jacket is in very good vintage condition. It can be worn straight away! There are a few minor issues, which are not a huge deal, and does not affect wearability of the garment. There are a few small stains, see photo for the largest one which is located on the back of the left arm. There is dirt/wear on the back collar, and some fading on the shoulders - most likely from being hung near a shop window. The lining seam on the right armpit is splitting as well, see photo. You will also find random "picking" of threads in some places, again, not very noticeable. Again, this garment is 70+ years old, so none of these issues are really out of the ordin
