Bambino Carrot

Bambino is a gourmet-type carrot that produces petite, bright orange roots with a super-sweet flavor and delicious snap.  Originally bred for canning and pickling, the Bambino carrot is quick to develop its orange color, allowing for early harvests around 62 days after sowing.  The tender roots are best harvested at 4 to 6 inches in length, when flavor and texture are at their peak.  Bambino is an ideal variety for growing in containers and raised beds as their short roots tolerate shallow soil depths and their early maturity allows for faster planting rotations.  Matures approximately 62 days after sowing.  Each packet contains a minimum of 150 seeds.
