'Phoenix' Small Mountain Sky Tapestry

Rising from the ashes... Backstory: “Phoenix” is a striking piece inspired by rebirth and cycles. The vivid colors engulf the whole piece to depict a blood moon glowing above an erupting volcano. I used vibrant colors such as deep red for the sky, a charcoal for the volcano which blends into a red to match the yellows and oranges in the 'lava.' Option to have one or two charms can change the entire look of the piece. The copper moon represents a blood moon and the black sun represents an eclipse. Although a volcano brings forth destruction, as time passes, new life emerges and the land left over is fertile and full of potential. This represents a cycle of life and ushers in hope and new beginnings.
