'Dunes' Oceanic Tapestry

Backstory: ‘Dunes’ is a unique textured organic wall decor inspired by dunes by the beach off the east coast of the US.In this fiber art, I used various fibers for texture to create the ridgeline of the dunes, the sand, and even the various foliage growing within. I use merino wool to represent the bubbles washing into the shore, and the bottom is hand dyed and painted in a gorgeous light blue-gray shade for the beach water. The bottom of the piece is unevenly cut to represent an organic, blended look.
