'Copper Ridge' Mountain Tapestry

Backstory: ‘Copper Ridge’ is a gorgeous fiber art ode to mountains in Colorado - specifically Maroon Bells.  The ‘sky’ is hand dyed in a white/ivory blend.  I took the rugged colors of browns and greens to make a beautiful landscape of a prominent rich copper mountain peak overlooking the vast distant ridges behind.  Below are blended knots and mossy green colors to represent the forests and foliage.   This fiber art is full of texture, neutral tan and brown coloring and pops of green with several macrame techniques combined.  The bottom fringe allows for organic movement and depth.
