Women's Soccer Tribute, a tribute to the United States women's national soccer team (USWNT). The team is the most successful in international women's soccer, winning four Women's World Cup titles (including the first Women's World Cup in 1991), four Olympic gold medals (including the first Olympic women's soccer tournament in 1996), and eight CONCACAF Gold Cups. Off the field, the team endured an escalating legal fight with the United States Soccer Federation over gender discrimination, with players pointing out their vastly lower pay as compared to the U.S. men's national team despite a much higher record of success. Their actions resulted in a new collective bargaining agreement on April 5, 2017. The agreement would, among other things, lead to a pay increase and reduce the disparity between the USA Men's and Women's soccer teams but, does not guarantee the U.S national women's team equal pay with the men's national team.
