Legio IX - Macho Riojano Knife
The LEGIO IX knife takes its name from the mythical Hispanic Ninth Legion.Bearing a Bull for a banner, it was one of the oldest and most feared units of the Roman army. It was recruited by Pompeyo among the ferocious indigenous Hispanic warriors: The Celts, Iberians and Celtiberians; serving in Macedonia as early as 42 BC, in the Balkans, in Africa against the Numidians, on the Rhine, against the fearsome Germanic Tribes and in the conquest of Gaul in the service of Julius Caesar. Legend has it that it disappeared in the 2nd century, annihilated in a suicidal campaign, fighting in overwhelming inferiority in the region of Judea, at the service, oddly enough, of the great Hispanic Emperor Adriano. This knife made by Miguel Barbudo is a redesign of the shape of the classical Spanish Macho Riojano style.Website of the designer of this model: https://www.navajasbarbudo.es FEATURES: Thumb Jimping on Spine Glass Breaker Pommel Choil with shape of a key “Barbudo sign” SPECIFICATIONSBest Use
