Stamp the image in your chosen ink color and let dry. Tips Clear stamps often don't give their best impression right out of the package. They usually have a filmy coating on the surface that's part of the polymer stamp manufacturing process. That coating can prevent a clean impression. If this happens, try inking up your stamp and pressing it out several times with firm, even pressure to condition it for future use. For larger stamps, a stamping platform like the MI
