So-me Storybook Series

 There are 12 stories in this charming series. The So-me Storybook Series is written by Stuart Manins, a retired professor of Music Education from Auckland, New Zealand. The So-me Storybooks are fun stories about a likable character named So-me. Originally designed to help children sing in tune and move in time, they provide a basis for developing educational and music concepts and skills. By listening to and joining in with the stories, and then by writing stories of their own, children are encouraged to respond sensitively and imaginatively to sounds in the world around them. His set of 12 sound stories and accompanying audio are charming, have really cute illustrations, and are full of musical teaching concepts.
