Spalted Ambrosia Wood Bowl - Multiple Sizes Available

An absolute showpiece and kitchen essential. Made from up-cycled trees from the New England forests, these wood bowls are conservation and beauty intertwined. Mike Peterman began turning bowls on a lathe over 15 years ago and since then, has become a master wood-turner; creating beautiful statement pieces for your home, using woods collected from the forests in his surrounding area. Trees that normally would be chipped or destroyed are transformed in Peterman's studio. This Spalted Ambrosia is especially gorgeous, with all its swirls and imperfections. Tracks and whirls showing the depth and character of the tree it came from. Variations in the coloration of these unique maple wooden bowls is to be expected and part of the beauty of the craft. Each piece of wood has a different tone and figuring.
