FARM ROVING - Alpaca / Merino / Silk - Roving from Champion SEBASTIAN - FAWN

This roving is made from “Champion Sebastian", who is not only a champion with lots of babies, he is also a PR animals and always poses for pics with the farm visitors. You can see from the pics, he likes to be "involved" :)  This is roving and is beautifully prepared and super soft.  It is pin drafted and a pleasure to spin.  This year I made it with golden tussah to enhance Sebastian's natural color and sheen. The stats: 2 or 4 oz in a braid roving - pin drafted 70% alpaca | 20% Merino | 10% golden tussah Grade 3  micron approx 23-26 microns next to skin OH SO soft  little bit of VM, any VM should fall out when spinning no neps or noils (very smooth) mill processed  staple length - approx 3- 3.5 inches Fawn in color with lighter streaks from the silk The roving is light and airy and drafts beautifully.
