FARM ROVING - Baby Alpaca / Merino / Silk - Roving (Baby Grade Alpaca) from CHASE - Black

This roving is made from CHASE, who is son of Champion SEBASTIAN and is a show winner as well.  He takes his personality from his dad and also stands in as a PR guy when needed, although getting a good pic of him is harder than his dad.    He has beautiful black fiber, and it is hard to get a good pic with the right lighting :)  This is roving and is beautifully prepared and super soft.  It is pin drafted and a pleasure to spin.   Normally I mix his fiber with white merino to make a steel grey with a white silk streak, but this time I took black merino and now this roving is jet black with a white silk streak!  It is striking !  The stats: 2 or 4 oz in a braid roving - pin drafted 70% alpaca | 20% Merino | 10% cultivated Grade 2 (baby grade)  micron approx 20-23 microns next to skin OH SO soft  almost no VM no neps or noils (very smooth) mill processed  staple length - approx ~4 inches Black / steel grey in color with white streaks from the silk The roving is light and airy and draft
