FARM ROVING - Baby Alpaca / Merino / Silk - Roving (Baby Grade Alpaca) from BLAZE - Brown

This roving is made from "Alma Park BLAZE", one of our young males here at Alma Park. He is the son of one of my most favorite males ever . . . Multomba who is no longer with us.  You can see from his pic why I named him "Blaze".  This is roving and is beautifully prepared and super soft.  It is pin drafted and a pleasure to spin.   The stats: 2 or 4 oz in a braid roving - pin drafted 70% baby alpaca | 20% Merino | 10% cultivated Grade 2 (baby grade) micron approx 20-23 microns next to skin OH SO soft  almost no VM, any VM should fall out when spinning almost no neps or noils (but there is an occasional little 2nd cut ) mill processed  staple length - approx 3- 3.5 inches Milk Chocolate Brown in color with white streaks from the silk The roving is light and airy and drafts beautifully. It almost spins itself. It also felts incredibly well.
