All of these design elements eliminate the needfor a hood, which can impair peripheral vision.The wool lined ear flap also covers the back of the neck and a cottondrawstring cord with a toggle cinches up under your chin. Please Note: because this hat is made of natural fibers, it is notwaterproof but is water resistant. You can make it more water resistant byre-waxing it over time as needed with wear and applying wax to the seams.
