Emily Field 1861 Sampler Pattern PDF

This sweet little redwork sampler is an original design and was inspired by my Georgian Miniature redwork sampler from an earlier period. The model is stitched on 36ct Edinburgh linen by Zweigart with Valdani overdyed silk called aged wine. The total stitch count is 9147 stitches and it takes 1 ball of Valdani silk (the ball is about 23 yards) which equals about 3 skeins of regular floss.
