This wine is made of 100% Nebbiolo. "Frales" is a play on the names of Silvano's children, Francesco and Alessandra. The wine is made with a slight carbonic maceration, and is then aged in barrique on its lees for a little under 1 year. Bottled without fining or filtering. This is a Nebbiolo with fresh youthfulness, bounding fruit, and light crunchy tannins, perfect for lighter roasted meets like chicken or veal.
