92 points Vinous The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Cailles 1er Cru is showing a little Brettanomyces on the nose that detracts from the delineation. Yet, there is some nice brambly red fruit trying to get out. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, nicely proportioned with a surprising keen thread of acidity. Structured, nice grip with decent persistence, this has potential. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting. (Drink between 2024-2043) NM (11/2022)
